In "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 episode 11 spoilers, Sheldon and Amy agreed to not give each other a gift for Christmas. While they were shopping for a Christmas tree, Amy blindsided Sheldon and kissed him under the mistletoe and in public, no less.
That got Sheldon riled up who then decided to give his girlfriend a Christmas present after all.

"She likes Chaucer, medieval literature and old French movies which make her eyes light up according to Shelon. He does admit that he really loves Amy and wants to find a gift to make her feel small and worthless."
Sheldon will also sit on Santa's lap to take a selfie in order to punish Amy for embarrassing him with a kiss.
The official synopsis for episode 11 reads: "Amy hosts a traditional English Victorian Christmas Eve dinner for the gang while the guys are conducting an experiment in the university cleanroom and accidently let a bird in."
Meanwhile, Rev. Alexander Santora wrote for New Jersey site that even the actors of "The Big Bang Theory," no matter how funny they seem to be, are not worth that much money.
"The three main actors Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, Johnny Galecki were each given a contract earning $1 million per episode," he wrote. "For 23 minutes of acting or even one week of rehearsing or simply being in a hit show, this kind of money is simply scandalous."
