Lindsay Lohan news reported that her father, Michael Lohan, has wed his pregnant girlfriend, Kate Major. In line with the report from Us Weekly, some wonder if the "Mean Girls" actress will actually get along with her stepmother, who is almost the same age as her, as well as her stepsibling.

The said Lindsay Lohan news was supposedly confirmed by Kate Major herself. "Yes, I can happily confirm that Michael and I were married last (October)," the 32-year-old told Us Weekly.

An insider detailed: "It was a beautiful, small ceremony and reception afterward. Kate and Michael purposely wanted it private as they await the arrival of their second child together."

Lindsay Lohan's father and stepmother announced their engagement last 2010. Amid an on-again-off-again relationship, the couple had a baby boy in January 2013.

Kate Major, who is roughly only four years older than the 28-year-old Lindsay Lohan, will give birth to her second baby in the following months.

Prior to the announcement of her father's wedding, earlier Lindsay Lohan news revealed that the "Mean Girls" star is planning a major career comeback. According to a feature from Radar Online, a source has shared that "Lindsay is determined to be a movie star again."

"Lindsay is doing better than she has in years," the insider added.

The Radar Online report detailed: "Lindsay plans to return home to her family in New York for a bit and is then heading to L.A. because she has three big movies that she is getting ready to star in."

Lindsay Lohan has been based in London for months, where she stars in a soon-to-conclude West End play entitled "Speed The Plow". While some are worried that returning to New York might make the former child star relapse from her drug and alcohol problems, a source claiming to be a close friend of the actress said: "She is still sober and we are all very supportive... We always will be."

"She has allowed all of her old friends back into her life," the insider added.
