Some people that saw the "Avengers 2" trailer can't help but wonder who that mystery woman is at the party. The first scene of the official trailer showed the superheroes having a victory party. Everyone was there including Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), and Thor (Chris Hemsworth). When Ultron appeared in the scene, there was a shot that showed Thor and standing up beside him was the mystery woman. Another scene showed her sitting beside Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson).
A few months ago, Joss Whedon revealed that there will be more female presence in "The Avengers: Age of Ultron". The director told Hey U, "There will be four prominent female roles in the center of the movie." He added, "I think there will be a more balance presence throughout the movie." We all have an idea who the three female roles are so who could be the fourth one.
There have been rumors that the mystery woman seen at the "Avengers 2" trailer could be Carol Danvers, or also known as Ms. Marvel, because a blonde lady appeared in the after-credits scene of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" as reported by Movie Pilot. Another rumor is Agent Carter, who will be ballroom dancing with Captain America.
Finally Disney confirmed who that woman is in the official trailer. Buzzfeed News reported that it is South Korean actress Kim Soo Hyun, or more known as Claudia Kim. However, Disney didn't reveal what her role will be in the movie. The website suggested that she could play Suzi Endo, who is a scientist that works at Stark Industries.
A few months ago, ScreenSlam (via Comic Book Movie) had a chance to do a short interview with Claudia Kim during the premiere of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier". The website asked the Korean superstar what her role will be in "The Avengers: Age of Ultron". The 24-year old actress said, "I am a doctor/scientist who is friends with Tony Stark." She added, "But I can't give you more information; my lips are sealed for now. It's very secretive."
