"The Hunger Games" actress Jennifer Lawrence might have a future in music as she's reported to land a spot on the Billboard 100, but she's not too happy about it.

In a report from News.com, the a capella rendition by Chris Martin's girlfriend of "The Hanging Tree" has receiving a lot of buzz.

"Lawrence's husky, subdued delivery of the song has struck such a chord that the track is well on its way to becoming a worldwide hit," it said.

In Australia, for example, the track debuted at No. 12 in the ARIA singles chart and No. 14 in the UK charts. "Early figures in the US suggest the song sold over 150,000 copies last week, which should see J-Law land a coveted top 40 hit in America when this week's chart is released on Wednesday."

That would have sent any actress giddy, but not "The Hunger Games" actress Jennifer Lawrence who told David Letterman earlier this month: "I do not like singing in front of other people. It's like my biggest fear. I cried on set that day. That was awful."

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 1" director Francis Lawrence confirmed that Jennifer Lawrence wasn't too fond of singing "The Hanging Tree."

"Director Francis Lawrence explained that she cried a little bit during the day she had to sing. Lawrence told MTV that she had never sung in front of people before, and joked on 'SNL' that her singing sounds like "a deer caught that has been in a fence." Clearly the fans disagree, so now we just have to wonder when we can expect her debut album," said Huffington Post.

If ever "The Hunger Games" Jennifer Lawrence does decide to carve a career in music, she can always turn to her rumored boyfriend Chris Martin for help. His band Coldplay has received numerous awards over the years including Billboard Music Award for Top Rock Album for the 2012 "Mylo Xyloto."
