Leann Rimes news reported how the "How Do I Live" singer recently opened up about her marriage to Eddie Cibrian. According to the feature in Daily Mail, the country singer admitted how they "fought so hard to be together".

The feature recalled how Leann Rimes made news when she married back-up dancer Dean Sheremet when she was only 19-years-old. Having married at such a young age, the country star was judged by the public when she fell for actor Eddie Cibrian while filming a TV movie seven years into her marriage.

Her "Northern Lights" co-star was also married then to Brandi Glanville, who currently stars in "Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills" and with whom he shares two children with.

Leann Rimes narrated to the news publication how she finally married Eddie Cibrian in 2011 at a friend's house in Malibu.

The country star shared: "We had chalkboards for guests to write messages on and I wrote, "Thank God we lived through this."

She admitted, reported by Daily Mail: "We fought so hard to be together; there's a bond between us that I think most people don't have."

The Grammy winner revealed that she believes she was meant to be with her husband, no matter how turbulent their relationship began. "Fans felt as though I was their daughter or sister making a big mistake when we got together, because they've grown up with me. But we both acted from our hearts and that's impossible to turn around."

The singer admitted that she is aware of how she disappointed a lot of people with her failed first marriage, and falling for the then-married Eddie Cibrian. She said: "Trust me, we both tried. Look, I've said 'I'm sorry' and made amends."

She added, reported by Daily Mail: "My life has been one big country song. I've gone through every emotion, especially in the situation with Eddie - I've felt pain and suffering and sadness and the most incredible love, all at the same time."
