Leann Rimes news announced that the "Can't Fight The Moonlight" singer has started her Christmas tour, and was accompanied by her husband, Eddie Cibrian.
According to the report from Daily Mail, the country star flew to New York on Wednesday to kick off a series of Holiday shows. She was wearing boyfriend jeans, a plain tank top, grey coverup, and brown boots.
Aside from being in the Big Apple for her Christmas tour, the singer also performed during the recently concluded Rockefeller Tree Lighting Ceremony.
Music from her soon-to-be launched new album was described by Leann Rimes to Billboard: "There's a little bit of dirty south kind of sound, but it's also very intimate."
She continued: "It was nice to do some songs that haven't been covered as much, so it was nice to set the tone with something a little different than what normal Christmas records have been."
The husband of the Grammy winner reportedly joined Leann Rimes in New York City. Eddie Cibrian appears to be a supportive husband judging from how the country singer gushes about him.
She admitted, reported by Daily Mail: "We fought so hard to be together; there's a bond between us that I think most people don't have."
The feature recalled how Leann Rimes made news when she married back-up dancer Dean Sheremet when she was only 19-years-old. Having married at such a young age, the country star was judged by the public when she fell for actor Eddie Cibrian while filming a TV movie seven years into her marriage. Her "Northern Lights" co-star was also married then to Brandi Glanville, who currently stars in "Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills", whom he shares two children with.
The Grammy winner revealed that she believes she was meant to be with her husband, no matter how turbulent their relationship began. She said, reported by Daily Mail: "Fans felt as though I was their daughter or sister making a big mistake when we got together, because they've grown up with me. But we both acted from our hearts and that's impossible to turn around."
