Lee Seung Gi and Moon Chae won are taking a break from their busy schedule of promoting "Today's Love" to make a guest appearance on "Running Man."

Representatives from the SBS variety show told several news outlets that the actors were already filming scenes for an episode that will be aired in January. The actors were spotted shooting scenes in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do.

It will not be Lee Seung Gi's first appearance on "Running Man." The "You're All Surrounded" and "Gu Family Book" star was a guest on the show in Dec. 2013. That time he appeared with actress Han Hye Jin. But it will be the first "Running Man" appearance for actress Moon Chae Won.

Lee Seung Gi and Moon Chae Won should be experts at teamwork as they recently finished shooting the film "Today's Love" together and they previously co-starred in a drama. Five years ago they played boyfriend and girlfriend in the drama "Brilliant Legacy." Their characters start out close at the beginning of the drama but when his character learns about her character's cruel nature, any chance of a relationship ends.

The two actors also recently finished shooting the romantic comedy "Today's Love." Despite the fact that this film has been described as a "realistic love story," this time their characters have a much better chance at becoming and staying a couple.

Lee Seung Gi may have more "Running Man" experience than Moon Chae Won but when it comes to film, she is his senior. "Today's Love" was his first film, while Moon Chae Won has appeared in a few films, including "War of Arrows" and "Awaiting."

In "Today's Love" he plays Junsu, a man who can't make relationships work because he is too giving. As a result, his girlfriends often dump him. Moon Chae Won plays Hyun Woo, a meteorologist. She's pushy and too talkative. They meet and fall in love.

"Today's Love," which also stars Hwa Young and Park Eun Ji, is expected to hit theaters in January.

Moon Chae Won is already busy with a new film role, but Lee Seung Gi will focus on promotional activitites before choosing a new project.

Moon Chae Won, who previously starred in "Good Doctor," has been cast in another film. She will appear in "The Mood That Day" with co-star Yoo Yeon Suk.

Lee Seung Gi was considering a role in the drama "Kill Me, Heal Me" about a man with multiple personality disorder, but he declined the role due to his busy film promotional schedule. Actor Ji Sung wound up taking that role.
