Lady Gaga news reported that the "Cheek To Cheek" singer and her boyfriend, Taylor Kinney, recently showed a united front following her shocking rape revelation.
According to a report from E!Online, the pop star and "Chicago Fire" actor made a rare red carpet appearance at the 37th Annual Kennedy Center Honors held in Washington, D.C.
Lady Gaga news reported that she performed "If I Ever Lose My Faith in You" during the said event. The singer previously explained on Instagram the meaning behind the said song, saying it "is a classic song about keeping faith as the times and people change."
After the outing, the 28-year-old uploaded an Instagram photo of herself with Taylor Kinney. She captioned the rare image: ""We had such a wonderful time at the Kennedy Center. We both care so much about the arts staying alive and respected. Celebrating all the honorees was an honor for me to be a part of and watch."
E!Online recalled how the singer gushed about her boyfriend of three years: "I can't really imagine being with anyone other than who I'm with right now."
Lady Gaga described Taylor Kinney as "extremely creative". She shared: "When it comes to his work, he can be quite introverted. He likes to just study and study and sit with his thoughts. We really connect in that way. We don't do the same thing."
The musician also detailed how she and the 33-year-old actor get along well: "He's extremely talented...What I do feed off is my ability to have an intelligent conversation with him about how it feels to be a creative person, because a lot of people don't always understand you. They think you're weird."
Since the couple has been known for being very private about their relationship, some would think that their appearance at this year's Kennedy Center Honors showed their bond amid the revelation of Lady Gaga's rape history, which broke the news recently.
According to an earlier report from Cosmopolitan, Lady Gaga opened up about the rape incident when she guested in Howard Stern's radio show. She said: "I was about 19... I went to Catholic school and then all this crazy stuff happened, and I was going, 'Oh, is this just the way adults are?'"
"I was very naïve... It wasn't until I was a little bit older that I went, 'Wow, that was really messed up,'" the singer said.
