B1A4's Baro has proven that he can rap and sing and dance. He also proved he could act when he appeared in "Reply 1997" and played the part of a mentally challenged young man in the drama "God's Gift - 14 Days." His role in "God's Gift - 14 Days" earned him praise and several award nominations, including 50th Baeksang Arts Awards nominations for Best New Actor and Most Popular Actor, as well as an APAN award nomination for Best Actor.

This year the 22-year-old did his first voiceover. He supplied some of the Korean dialogue for the animated family film "Artemis Fowl: The Seventh Dwarf." Baro lent his voice to the character Bobo, the youngest of the seven dwarves.

In Korea animated feature films often use girl and boy K-pop band members to supply the voiceovers. For example, T-ara's Ji Yeon and MBLAQ's Lee Joon supplied the voices for the lead characters in the Korean version of "Gnomeo and Juliet." Girls Generation members Taeyeon and Seohyun were recruited to dub the Korean version of "Despicable Me." Kara's Sung Yeon and 2AM singer Jung Jinwoon were featured in "Epic."

Baro will play a dwarf who both sets a curse in motion and helps to end it. The story of "Artemis Fowl: The Seventh Dwarf" is a spin on the Sleeping Beauty tale with a few other fairy tale elements.

The heroine, Princess Rose, is the victim of a curse that says she will be stung in the finger before her 18th birthday. As part of the curse, she and the whole castle will fall asleep. She's friendly with the seven dwarves who want to protect her. But somehow, despite their best efforts, Bobo is accidentally responsible for stinging her and fulfilling the curse. She and everyone else in the palace fall asleep. After that happens a heartbroken Bobo and the other six dwarves go on an adventure to save the princess and the kingdom. Along the way they meet enemies, including an evil witch and her fire-breathing dragon named appropriately Burner.

The bravery the dwarves display on their quest to save the princess proves that even the smallest dwarf can be a king.

"This is a film you can watch with your whole family during winter vacation," said Baro in a promotional teaser for the film.

"Artemis Fowl: The Seventh Dwarf" will be released in Korea around Christmas.
