"Game Of Thrones" alum Rose Leslie was rumored to be Kit Harington's girlfriend (again) after the pair were seen arriving together at the LAX for the San Diego Comic Con last July. However, Harington recently admitted that he's actually unattached right now.
"I'll never talk about any particular relationship I've been in. But I will say I'm single at the moment," he told The Mirror.
Although his answer sounds similar to the answer he gave Marie Claire about his past (and current relationship) last August, he sounds more sure now than he did back then.
"If I come out and say this is what I'm doing, this is who I'm with, then everyone goes, 'OK this is boring; next'," he told the fashion magazine at that time. "It's much more fun to see what the press make up. It doesn't bother me."
He and Rose Leslie never really publicly admitted if they got back together this year or not but fans of the onscreen couple want them to be together in real life.
Speaking to The Mirror, Harington revealed that he finds keeping relationships hard to maintain thanks to his line of work. Kit Harington's girlfriend would only end up alone most of time.
"Relationships as an actor are incredibly difficult," he shared. "With someone who's not an actor, because they never get to see you; and with someone who is an actor, because you're ships in the night a lot of the time."
With his role as Jon Snow in the hit HBO series, the 27-year-old hunk spends most of the year filming in Iceland. A relationship would only work if Kit Harington's girlfriend would be willing to accompany him on location.
He continued, "I mean, ideally, if you keep acting in the film world, you're a travelling salesman. And your options are: sacrifice a lot of your career, to make sure it's not unfair on the other person, or find someone who is willing to be your travelling circus. That's where I stand, and I'm trying to address it at the moment."
Rose Leslie had been a great match for the British star since they worked in the same area. However, since Ygritte got killed off in the show, then she would have no reason to stay in Iceland with him.
