Cain and Metatron will definitely come back later this season, according to "Supernatural" season 10 spoilers. But they are not the only ones who are making a comeback as Rowena and Charlie are also reported to guest star in a several episodes.
Timothy Omundson, who also plays Det. Carlton Lassiter in "Psych," teased spoilers for "Supernatural" season 10 in a social media post that came in the form of a multiple choice.
He asks: Why am I going to Vancouver?
The choices are: A) PSYCH reunion; B) Bringing Cain back to #SUPERNATURAL; C) Extradition.
He also provided a hint: It's no A and C.
"Cain is one of those characters so interesting that we would not mind having him around for a little while moving forward," Cartermatt said.
The site said that the Mark of Cain has figured significantly this season so the appearance of Cain himself is not out of order.
"We basically learned through him the murder that the mark can have, and we are sure that there is some unfinished business between him and Jensen Ackles' Dean in particular," it added.
However, Cain is not the only one returning as the report claimed that Metatron, Rowena and Charlie are also returning this season.
Curtis Armstrong previously told Buddy TV that Metatron is such a colorful character that is best illustrated by his language, which is his favorite part of playing the fallen angel.
"I think it's the language. It's so delicious. I mean, it's funny, but really -- Robbie Thompson gave me this bit about Sherlock Holmes in 'Meta Fiction,' and I'm a Sherlock Holmes person, and so for me, to have that -- and it was not even an 'Elementary, my dear Watson' reference, it was an actual reference from a story not everyone knows, and even named a lesser known inspector," he said.
"It was great, and I was so excited, and I was so worried they were going to cut it for some reason. It was the only line I've ever went, "Oh, please don't cut it, please don't cut it, please don't cut it." It was really nice," Curtis Armstrong added.
