"Let it go, too relieved to grieve": the lyrics to last year's "Frozen" are officially annoying.

Parents are complaining their children still have "Frozen" in the brain, wishing director Jennifer Lee could whip up something so everyone could "just let it go, too relieved to grieve."

The "Frozen" soundtrack remains a hit in children a year after the movie's release. The film and the song won Jennifer Lee an Oscar Award for best animated film and music. The song "Let It Go" was a surprise hit in both adults and children, spawning countless parodies and adaptations to boot.

In fact, the "Glee" final season premiere date has been announced with "Let It Go" used in the teaser ad. The reach of the song has gone way beyond US borders, especially in Asia.

"Glee" co-creator Ryan Murphy comments on the show's final season, which is apt for to the theme song of the trailer.

"You have to have obstacles to have a happy ending. I've spent a year learning what they want. We have a list in the writers' room that says, 'What do the fans want to end that show?' And our endings are all very uplifting, and I think by the end of it, people will be ecstatic and really thrilled by how things turn out. I am." (eonline.com)

Lee remembers meeting parents on the street and receiving gushing comments, from parents grateful for the movie. Their children singing the song ad nauseum was considered cute. Now, a year after "Frozen's" first screening, Lee says she's apologizing to parents who just want to "let it go, too relieved to grieve."

"A year ago, I'd meet people who, when they found out who I was, they'd say, 'Oh, we love the songs! We sing them all the time. Now they're like, 'Yep, we're still listening to those songs,' [and] I've gone from thank you to sorry!" (hollywoodreporter.com)

The two-hour "Glee" final season premiere kicks off January 9 on Fox, and wraps up March 20.
