Tom Clancy's The Division Xbox One and PS4 release date have yet to be determined.

Reports suggest that the launch delay has been attributed to Ubisoft's dedication to deliver an outstanding open-world RPG. While some fans appreciate the hardwork the developers are putting into the anitipated release, many are still waiting for official launch announcements.

The new game looks very impressive, but with the year ending soon, no confirmation has been made about a "Tom Clancy's The Division" release date for Xbox One and PS4. Moviepilot reports, "Ubisoft has already pushed their highly anticipated MMO The Division to 2015. According to a report, the game was nowhere near ready in May earlier this year! So if game development had barely started at that time, can we assume that they are running into a lot of issues with the latest Tom Clancy experience?!"

According to Master Herald, it would be inevitable for such an ambitious game to face developmental roadblocks along the way.

"A recent statement, allegedly coming from an anonymous source from Ubisoft, claims that another delay is possible, as the game is not really in a finished state at the moment, not even a very playable one. According to the quote, the game does work, and most of the important features have already been implemented, however it's not very stable and still has a lot of polish to be done before it's in a proper condition for a release," the article read.

"There actually seem to be lots of technical issues with "The Division" behind the scenes, including unexpected crashes, bugs on the server, and latency problems. Still, progress is being made, and the game is wrapping up nicely."

But what exactly can fans expect from Tom Clancy's The Division for Xbox One and PS4?

Ubisoft Art Designer Rodrigo Cortez said,"We want to show gamers the game they will end up playing. We don't want to sell a fantasy."

"You're starting to see similar mixing of genres in other games. Before a game was either a shooter, or a third-person game, or a driving game. But now more and more there's a blend of genres into a bigger game. It can make the game hard to define - it has shooter elements, RPG mechanics, it's cover-based, online and a seamless open-world. It has all of that, yes. But we took it to heart. It's a proper RPG," he added.

"There's nothing like it out there so we can do things surprisingly well that nobody has done before. We don't have dragons or weird spell effects, we have technology and we have weaponry."
