ZE:A's Im Shi Wan will attempt his first adult role through the silver screen.

Star Empire, ZE:A's management company, stated, "The contract has not been signed yet; however, he is positively considering on appearing in the movie 'The Boy Who Went To Wonderland'."

'The Boy Who Went To Wonderland' will be directed by Heo Eun Hee. She debuted as the director of the movie 'The Beating Heart' at the 2010 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival and received the Special Jury Mentionable Award. Through this project, Im Shi Wan will be taking on adult roles in earnest.

A source from Star Empire said, "Even though he is 24 years old, he has the image of a teenager. One of the reasons he is positively considering the role in 'The Boy Who Went To Wonderland' would be because it is a role that can showcase his acting as an adult."

The source also heightened the anticipation for the film by saying, "Im Shi Wan has continuously practiced acting during his singing and variety show activities. He has a special passion for acting. You will continue to see him improve."

Im Shi Wan was rumored to appear in both 'The Boy Who Went To Wonderland' and 'Kkang Chul', but he has turned down the role in 'Kkang Chul'.
