The Elder Scrolls Online free to play and console release date will be in 2015 new reports suggests.
The highly anticipated announcement of the MMORPG's console version release date was finally confirmed by Zenimax as part of their Holiday Greetings to fans.
According to International Business Times, "Developer Zenimax Online Studios has put to rest the rumours on the release of MMORPG game Elder Scrolls Online and has now announced that the game will be released in 2015. It added that the game will be coming on Xbox One and PS4 platforms."
"The post also revealed that Elder Scrolls Online will see the introduction of Champion and Justice Systems, these will be new additions to the game."
The site also added that another Elder Scrolls game could be released in 2015. Apart from TESO, fans are also excited about Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia. Rumors have it that the new release might be launched next year. "Players and fans have kept rumour mills churning with some speculating that 2015 might also see the release of Elder Scrolls 6. But there has been no pointers from publisher Bethesda to suggest this. Many also believe Elder Scrolls 6 could be rolling out in March 2016," International Business Times continued.
Rumors have sparked about Bethesda and Zenimax's move to cancel subscription and just make the game free to play for everyone. However, despite being immensely discussed online, there has been no concrete details about the developers planning to move into that direction.
According to Air Herald, "There have been rumours regarding 'Elder Scrolls Online' model, fans predict it will become a free-to-play MMORPG since it recently released loyalty program to reward those that maintain their subscription for certain periods of time. This could indicate that Bethesda is having trouble holding onto its fans."
"However, Elder Scrolls Online has received many positive reviews and has a growing fan base. If fans are already happy with how the MMORPG turned out, they can expect more quality updates in the future."
