We compare the specs, features, display, camera, performance, battery life and price of the Nokia Lumia 730 vs the Motorola Moto G 2014 to see which one is better.

The Nokia Lumia 730 has a glossy plastic back slightly curved on the sides, while the top and the bottom are flat while the Motorola Moto G 2014 is very similar to its previous model though the Motoral Moto G features two horizontal bars on the front panel, above and below the screen. Both smartphones have the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top of their screens.

The Nokia Lumia 730 has an OLED display of 4.7 inches with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels and 316ppi, while the Moto G 2014 has a 5 inche IPS LCD screen that supports the same resolution but having a lower a pixel density of 294ppi.

The Nokia Lumia 730 has a 1.2GHz quad core Cortex A7 processor backed by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, an Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB of RAM. Its internal memory is at 8GB but with a microSD card users are able to increase the storage up to 128GB. The Motorola Moto G 2014 has identical specs, but the difference is that the 8GB memory can be expanded to 32GB only.

The Nokia Lumia 730 comes with a built-in memory of 2200 mAh (BV-T5A) which provides 17 hours of talk time on 3G and 22 hours on 2G. The Motorola Moto G 2014's battery is non-removable and has a capacity of 2070 mAh.

The rear camera on the Nokia Lumia 730 has a resolution of 6.7MP and it comes with ZEISS optics, autofocus and LED flash and it features a 1/3.4” sensor size. It also has a 5MP front camera that can record videos at 1080p.

Motorola Moto G 2014 has an 8MP camera on the back and a 2MP camera on the front. There is also this option called "Best Shot" which can improve the photo quality.

The Nokia Lumia 730 costs $245, while the Motorola Moto G 2014 is cheaper at $180.
