Which of these devices is the ideal purchase for consumers? We compare the Motorola Droid Turbo against Apple's iPhone 6 to see which is better.
For the display specs, the iPhone 6 has a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 750 x 1334 and the pixel density of 326ppi. The new display size is fantastic in it’s larger frame, considerably bigger that the last iPhone model.
As for the Motorola Droid Turbo, its display supports a resolution of 1440 x 2560 at 565ppi and is protected by a Cornelia Gorilla Glass 3 that sits within a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display.
In terms of hardware, OS battery and camera specs, the iPhone 6 has the new A8 chipset, a dual-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz , that holds 1GB of RAM, 1,810 mAh battery pack and an 8MP primary camera. The new Apple handset runs on the iOS 8 and it’s storage options run at 16GB/64GB/128 GB. The also features that come with are Touch I’D, Apple Pay, among many other nice features.
The Motorola Droid Turbo on the other hand, has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor that runs at 2.7 GHz, 3 GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB storage, a massive 3,900 mAh battery and a 21 MP primary camera. The device will run on Android Lollipop but for the time being it runs on an Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system.
The Motorola Droid Turbo cost around $600, while the Apple iPhone 6 is at $650.
