In terms of hardware, the iPhone 6 Plus has a 64-bit chipset dual core processor with speed of 1.4 GHz, while the LG G3 is powered by a Snapdragon 801 chipset, a quad core processor clocked at 2.5 GHz. The LG handset has the storage advantage, due to having a 16 and 32 GB, but users can add extra 128 GB via a microSD card. The iPhone 6 Plus comes in 16, 64 and 128 GB versions, but there is no support for external storage.
For the battery and camera specs, the LG G3 has a 3000 mAh battery, which delivers 21 hours of talk time, while the iPhone 6 Plus' battery can handle up to 12 hours of usage. The Apple phablet features an 8-MP sensor on the back, and the LG hanset has a 13-MP camera. However, armed with dual LED flash and optical image stabilization, the both devices can deliver excellent pictures. Slight advantage goes to the iPhone 6 Plus, due to the ability to record 1080p videos at 60 fps and 720p videos at 240 fps (slow motion videos).
The LG G3 cost around $599, while the cheapest iPhone 6 Plus cost $750.
