Are besties Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran rivaling?

That doesn't seem to be the case exactly, but the Brit singer has recently told Sydney Confidential that someone like Tay-Tay is his biggest competition in the biz.

"My competition at the moment is probably somebody like Taylor," he said. "It's a healthy competition. She's someone to aspire to because she's one of the biggest touring acts and record-selling acts on the planet. That's where I want to be and I'll work up to that point."

Despite the competition, Taylor and Ed remain very close and good friends. Eversince the two got together to work on Taylor's album "Red," the pair stayed in touch and remained pals.

Taylor was even very comfortable to send Ed some of her cat videos! As she mentioned to Britain's Capital FM, "Someone's gonna get videos of me having a conversation with my cat that I sent Ed... and like YouTube videos and stuff like that. He's one of my best friends... Legitimately."

Meanwhile, Ed remains to be his bestie's number one supporter. In a recent interview, the "Thinking Out Loud" singer revealed his favorite song from Taylor's new album. "'Bad Blood'. The first song she played me was 'Blank Space', and the second song was 'Bad Blood', and I've always loved that from the beginning. I thought it should have been the first single, but I think probably 'Shake It Off' was a better choice."
