Street Fighter fans will get extra SWAG, with Sony confirming Ultra Street Fighter IV costumes will include previous versions on the PlayStation 4 port.

The collection will also include the recently released Vacation and Wild costumes, offering more character palettes for players to choose from.

In addition to the new Ultra Street Fighter IV costumes, the PS4 version comes with Omega Mode, aside from five new characters and six brand new stages. Sony's Gio Corsi claims the PlayStation 4 version of the game will be its "ultimate edition."

The news came with the latest PlayStation blog; the new Ultra Street Fighter port to release with Resident Evil Revelations 2 this spring, on the PS4.

"The Street Fighter series evolves to a whole new level with Ultra Street Fighter IV for PS4, the first Street Fighter title to debut on next-gen consoles anywhere," Corsi teased.

Ultra Street Fighter IV is already available on the previous generation of consoles, on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The PlayStation 4 version was originally slated to release last December; an Xbox One version is yet to be announced.

The re-release intends to build hype for Capcom's next installment in the franchise, Street Fighter V. Currently being developed exclusive to the PlayStation 4 and PC, it's confirmed the game supports cross-platform play (gamespot.com).

Capcom surprised the gaming industry with an exclusive release for Street Fighter V, without an Xbox One port. The announcement was made during the PlayStation Experience last month, with the launch for the title's gameplay video.

Street Fighter V is still in the early stages of development, but Capcom assured early on the gamers won't be limited by a "pay-to-win" scheme, which is apparently the trend in many titles recently.

The new Ultra Street Fighter IV costumes are expected to bring back classic and recent costumes for all the 25 characters included in the game.
