We compare the HTC Desire 826 against the Google Nexus 6 to see which smartphone is better.
The HTC Desire 826 has a removable rear cover, in which users can put different colored casing. Its display measures 5.5 inches that can render a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The Nexus 6 on the other hand has a design similar to the Moto X 2014, with a 6.6 inch display that can render at 1440 x 2560 pixels.
The HTC Desire 826 has a qualcomm Snapdragon 615, coupled with a Adreno 405 GPU. It has two variants of CPU: a quad-core Cortex-A53 cloced at 1.7 GHz, and a quad-core Cortex-A53 clocke at 1.0 GHz. It has 2GB of RAM, and an internal memory of 16GB, but the users can expand it at 128Gb with a microSD card. The Nexus 6 is equipped with a quad-core processor clocking at 2.7 GHz and supported by 3GB of RAM. It has an internal memory 32 or 64, but unlike its rival it doesn't have a microSD card. Both devices operate with the Android OS, v5.0.1 (Lollipop).
The HTC handset has a 13MP rear camera, and 4MP one at the front, however it doesn't feature an LED Flash. Like its rival, the Nexus 6 also has a 13MP rear camera, with features such as LED Flash and optical stabilization, but the front camera is only 2MP.
The HTC Desire 826 has a non-removable Li-Po 2600 mAh battery, which could last a whole day, according to the Fuse Joplin. The Nexus 6 battery has a capacity 3220 mAh, which also last a whole day, with additional 6 hours when turbo charging.
The Fuse Joplin stated that the HTC Desire 826 price range is rumored to be $350 to $500, while the Nexus 6 is at $900 (32GB), and $100 (64GB).
