The display of both smartphones have the same size at 5.5 inches, and renders a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels at 401ppi. The difference is that the Oneplus One's display is a LTPS LCD, while the Huawei Honor 6 Plus is a IPS LCD.

According to the reports from the Fuse Joplin, the Oneplus One's design a looks like the LG G3 because of the floating arc design, but its corners are sharper, and the shell is made of plastic. The Huawei Honor 6 design has a rectangular body with rounded corners and has a flat black or white/gold glass back like it predcessor. The sides are covered with a metallic-looking strip and the front panel has three capacitive buttons with geometric shapes. The Oneplus One's dimensions are 152.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm and weighs 162 grams, while the Huawei Honor 6 Plus is 150.5 x 75.7 x 7.5 mm, and it weighs 165 grams, making it slightly heavier than its rival.

The Huawei Honor 6 Plus has two of processors: a quad-core Cortex-A15, and a quad-core Cortex-A7, partnered with the HiSilicon Kirin 925 chipset, and Adreno 330 GPU. It has 3GB of RAM, while the 3G variant has 16GB, and the LTE model has 32GB. The good thing about this phone is that it can increase its RAM capacity at 128 with a microSD card.

The Oneplus One has as Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801, that is powered by a quad core 2.5GHz Krait 400 processor, and an Adreno 330 GPU for graphics. It also has 3GB of RAM, and sadly it doesn't have a microSD slot, but it has two storage options at 16 and 64GB. Both smartphones have the Android OS, v4.4.2 (KitKat), but the Oneplus One will have the v4.4.4 (KitKat) upgrade.

The OnePlus One has a 13MP rear camera, equipped with dual-LED flash, autofocus, HDR, 2160p@30fps video capture, and the front camera has a resolution of 5MP, that records videos at 1080p@30fps. The Huawei Honor 6 Plus has a dual 8MP camera also with dual-LED flash, but can only record 1080p@30fps, and a 8MP secondary camera.

According to Amazon.com, the Oneplus One 16GB cost $396, while the Huawei Honor 6 Plus 16GB is around $362 dollars.
