KBS 2TV weekend drama 'My Daughter Seo Young' has halted filming. All eyes are on whether they will be able to air new episodes this weekend.
Originally, 'My Daughter Seo Young' was supposed to film in Cheonho-dong, Seoul on the 18th. However, the Korean Broadcast Actors Union forcefully took over the set, and halted the filming.
The scenes they were filming are needed for the episodes airing on the 22nd, and 23rd. If the filming does not resume, the drama is in danger of being unable to air new episodes this weekend.
According to a representative from 'My Daughter Seo Young', "This is a big problem. There were plans to film on the 19th as well. If we are unable to continue filming, there is a chance that there might not be any new episodes. The filming must continue no matter what. Shouldn't we try, and make sure there are episodes to air?"
Korean Broadcast Actors Union is currently on strike because of the 1.3 billion won in unpaid wages. They refuse to continue filming until KBS resolves the issue.
