We compare the Oneplus One and the Google Nexus 6 to see which device is worth the purchase.
According to the reports from the Fuse Joplin, the Oneplus One as a very unique design as it features attractive an chassis with a floating arc shape, and having a sandstone texture. It has a LTPS LCD display measuring 5.5 inches, and renders a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels at 401 ppi. It's dimensions are 152.9×75.9×8.9 mm, and weighs only 162 grams making it thinner, shorter, and lighter than the Nexus 6.
The Nexus 6 has a bigger display and a metallic frame running around the edges. The display is a Ultra HD AMOLED, rendering a powerful resolution of 1440×2560 pixels at 493ppi, and measuring 5.96 inches. It weighs 184 gram, and its dimensions are 152.9×75.9×8.9 mm.
The Nexus 6 has a huge advantage over the Oneplus One in term of hardware, and processor. It has a qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset supporting a quad core 2.7GHz Krait 450 processor along with an Adreno 420 GPU, and 3GB of RAM. It has a 64GB internal memory, but it has also a 16GB variant. It runs on the Android OS, v5.0.1 (Lollipop)
Meanwhile, the Oneplus One hardware is a qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 chipset being powered by a quad-core Krait 400 processor at 2.5 GHZ, and Adreno 330 for graphics. It's also has an internal memory of 64GB, and runs on the Android OS, v4.4.2 (KitKat), upgradable to v4.4.4 (KitKat).
The Nexus 6 battery has a capacity of 3220 mAh, that last 24 hours, with additional 6 hours when turbo charging. The Oneplus has 3100mAh battery that has a similar lifespan.
According to GSMArena, both phablets have 13MP rear cameras with features such as dual-LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR, and can record videos 2160p@30fps, but the Nexus 6 has in addition optical image stabilization and a not so impressive front camera of 2MP, while its rival has 5MP front camera.
The 32GB Nexsu 6 variant is at $800, while the Oneplus One cost around $455 on Amazon.com.
