Perrie Edwards laughed off the wedding rumors as her fiancé Zayn Malik marked his 22nd birthday after a good year for One Direction.
"The majority of stuff I read is untrue so I just laugh at it," she said per Unreality TV. "I think what's funny is everyone saying that I'm trying to rush my wedding and that I've got Gordon Ramsay cooking. My cousin was like 'oh my God are you having Gordon Ramsay?' And I'm like WHAT? Where did you get that from?"
In an earlier interview with Hello Magazine, Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards said that she and Zayn Malik don't have a schedule on when they will tie the knot.
"We're just going with the flow, we're just happy to be engaged and enjoying it," she said.
Perrie Edwards said they are not rushing to get married because they want everything to be perfect when the time comes. And that means they are no longer too busy with their respective schedules.
Zayn Malik marked her 22nd birthday on January 12, which will hopefully usher in good will for 2015.
The Hollywood Life noted that Zayn Malik had an incredible 2014.
"As part of One Direction, Zayn was declared one of the second-highest earning celebrities under 30 by Forbes, and the top artist of the year by Billboard," it said. "But of course that's just the tip of the iceberg for Zayn, who along with his 1D bandmates, released yet another chart-topping album in 2014, Four. The boys also launched a wildly successful stadium tour, their first one, called the Where We Are Tour. Even with all that, Directioners still can't get enough of the boys, and the devastatingly handsome Zayn in particular!"
Zayn Malik and fiancee Perrie Edwards have been reported to be planning to leave their respective bands in order to spend more time together. But those reports have remained rumors for now, particularly with the denial from both camps.
