We compare the Samsung Galaxy Note against the Motorola Droid Turbo to see which of these devices is the better purchase.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has the same metallic frame as the Galaxy Alpha, which gives a good premium look, and its back is made of plastic with faux leather pattern, and it doesn't have the fake stitching on the edges. It has a Super AMOLED display of 5.7 inches, and can render a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels at 515ppi pixel density. Its dimensions are 153.5 x 78.6 x 8.5 mm, and weighs around 176 grams. Plus, its protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and has the S Pen Stylus.
According to the Fuse Joplin, the Motorola Droid Turbo appearance is very futuristic due to the its materials: a metallic fiberglass,and ballistic nylon. Users will notice the ridged metal buttons (power and volume controller), and the front panel has thicker bezels than its rival. It's screen display is also Super AMOLED and also renders the same resolution, but its smaller at 5.2 inches, and has a pixel density of 565ppi. It's protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has two variants of processors: Quad-core 2.7 GHz Krait 450, and Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 1.9 GHz. Its also has two chipsets: a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 , and an Exynos 5433, and they are partnered by Adreno 420 with 3 GB of RAM. It's internal memory is at 32 GB, but users can expand it at 128 GB with a microSD card.
The Motorola Droid Turbo is equipped with a Quad-core 2.7 GHz Krait 450, and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805, which ironically similar to one of the variants in the Note 4. It also runs on the Adreno 420 GPU with 3 GB of RAM, but it has two variants of internal memory at 32 and 64 GB. It both devices run on the Android OS, v4.4.4 (KitKat), and will have the v5.0 (Lollipop) upgrade soon.
For the camera and battery specs, GSMArena stated that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a better front camera of 3.7MP and its back camera has a resolution of 16MP, with features such as optical image stabilization, HDR, autofocus, HDR etc. The Motorola Droid Turbo on the other hand, is eqipped with a 2MP front camera, and 21MP rear shooter, featuring dual-LED flash and shooting videos at 2160p@24fps instead of 2160p@30fps.
The Note 4 has a Li-Ion battery at 3220mAh, which can last 20 hours on 3G, while the Droid Turbo battery is a non-removable one with 3900mAh capacity that lasts 2 days if talking on 3G.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 32GB is worth $730 on Amazon.com, while the Motorola Droid Turbo is $70 cheaper than its rival.
