The Samsung Galaxy Core is also equipped with a TFT display measuring 4.3 inches, and renders the same resolution, but at 217 ppi pixel density. Its dimensions are 129.3 x 67.6 x 9 mm, and weighs 124 grams.

The Nokia handset's hardware is a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Dual-core Krait processor clocked at 1GHz, and an Adreno 305 for graphics. It has 512 MB of RAM, and an internal memory of 8GB, but can be expanded with a microSD card at 64GB. It runs on the Microsoft Windows Phone 8, but can be upgraded into the v8.1.

The Galaxy Core is powered by a Snapdragon MSM8225 S4 Play Dual-core Cortex-A5 clocke ar 1.2 GHz, and an Adreno 208 GPU. Its RAM capacity is at 1 GB, with an internal memory of 8 GB. It also has a microSD card that can reach 64GB, and runs on the Android OS, v4.1.2 (Jelly Bean).

The Nokia handset's camera is at 5MP, and it has VGA. It has a Li-Ion battery at 1300 mAh, which can last up to 14 hours and 40 min in 2G , and 9 hours and 50 min in 3G. The Samsung device has also a 5MP and VGA cameras, and the a Li-Ion battery at 1800 mAh capacity, which can last 14 hours in 2G, and 9 hours in 3G.

GSMArena stated that the Mokia Lumia 620 cost $99.99 with no contract, while the Samsung Galaxy Core is at $176.96.
