Chris Martin's ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow showed off her svelte figure in a tiny bikini while on vacation to Puerto Vallarta in Mexico over the weekend.

A photo of the 42-year-old actress walking on a white sand in a bikini was published by E! News. She's in local Mexican resort to mark the 50th birthday of her friend Crystal Lourde.

"Wearing an itty-bitty ruffle bikini, a body chain necklace and aviator shades, the Goop goddess showed off her toned and trim shape," the article noted. "Proving it's totally possible to still turn heads-even when you're not a twentysomething starlet."

In an interview with Harpers Bazaar, Chris Martin's ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow talked about her relationship with the Coldplay frontman.

"The older I get, the more open-minded I get, the less judgmental I get. "I have friends who I love and admire who have had an affair. When I was younger, I would have said, 'He's a terrible person' or 'She's a terrible person.' But who made these laws?" she said.

"Of course, there are times when I think it would have been better if we had stayed married, which is always what your children want," she added. "But we have been able to solidify this friendship, so that we're really close."

After their split, Chris Martin moved on with Jennifer Lawrence but they split after three months. Recently, however, reports have suggested that the rocker and the "Hunger Games" star have reunited. Their relationship, however, won't have any opposition from the "Iron Man" actress.

In an interview with Howard Stern, the Goop founder claimed that she's fine with Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence dating.

"Who says I don't approve? Why not? Why is it going to be an issue?" Chris Martin's ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow said. "I respect him as the father of my children. It's his life and it's his decision and I do think that he loves the kids so much, and I don't think that he would be with someone that wasn't great. And if I'm wrong, I'll come back here and I'll tell you."
