We compare the Apple iPhone 6 Plus and the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 to see which of these devices is worth purchase.
According to the Fuse Joplin, both phablets is made up of aluminum, has curvy edges, and sharp curves. However, the iPhone 6 Plus dimensions is at 158.1 x 77.8 x 7.1 mm, weighs 172 grams, making it wider, and lighter than its rival. Instead of having two wide and white bands on the back, at the top and at the bottom, Apple opted for narrow strips, and it has shatter proof glass for protection. It has a LED-backlit IPS LCD at 5.5 inches, and renders 1080 x 1920 pixels at 401ppi.
The Huawei Ascend Mate 7 looks pretty much like an HTC phone, but has only one thin horizontal strip at the back, and lacks the speakers from the front panel. Its dimensions are 157 x 81 x 7.9 mm, weighs heavier at 185 grams, and its protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It has a bigger IPS LCD screen at 6 nches, and it renders a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels at 368ppi.
According to the specs from GSMArena, the iPhone 6 Plus is equipped with a dual core 1.4GHz Cyclone processor, with the 64-bit Apple A8 chipset, and it’s paired with a M8 motion co-processor, PowerVR GX6450 quad-core graphics. It has 1GB of RAM, and comes with three variants of internal memory: 16, 64 and 128GB. It on the runs on iOS 8.1.2 software.
The Huawei phablet has 32-bit HiSilicon Kirin 925 that supports two quad core processors clocked at 1.8GHz and 1.3GHz, and it has a Mali-T628 for graphics. The internal memories of this device are 16GB with 2GB of RAM, and 32GB storage with 3GB of RAM. It can expand its memory at 128 GB with an microSD card, and runs on the Android OS, v4.4.2 (KitKat).
iPhone 6 Plus has an 8MP primary shooter, with features such as optical image stabilization, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED flash, 1/3” sensor size, 1.5µm pixel size, slo-mo recording etc. Its secondary camera is at 1.2MP, and its non-removable Li-Po battery has a capacity of 2915 mAh, which last 24 hours of talking time.
Huawei’s phablet comes with a 13MP primary camera with Sony IMX214 sensor, while the front camera is 5MP. It has non-removable Li-Po battery with an impressive capacity of 4100 mAh, which last 648 hours in stand by mode.
Amazon.com stated that the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 16GB unlocked version is worth $520, while the iPhone 6 Plus 16GB is worth $749.
