Teresa Giudice’s eldest daughter, Gia, has been the one giving the RHONJ fans and the rest of the world updates on her mom as she serves her 15-month prison sentence.
As the 13-year-old Gia handles her mom being away for over a year of her life, the teenager has decided to put her thoughts into song along with her girl group, 3KT, through the release of the girls’ new track “Just 13.”
The track, which features Lil Cee, reportedly focuses on the obstacles that come up with growing up in front of the cameras, according to E! News.
“Mama said be strong/ So against this storm I stand through it all/ It's just a joke to you/ I'm just another hashtag/ And if a camera crew followed you/ What would they see/ You're just like me,” sings Gia in the music video for “Just 13.”
Gia and her mom had reportedly always remained close, evident from what we’ve seen on RHONJ.
“Me and my mom are extremely close. We’re like sisters,” Gia had told E! News.
She added, “Honestly, I was with her every step of the way. There were obviously things where she like didn't tell me, but basically like I was with her every step of the way...My sisters, they really had no idea. They would see things in like magazine but they really had no idea. It was really just me because I was older, I was 13 at the time and I did understand."
Gia and her three sisters along with her father, Joe Giudice, reportedly visited Teresa in prison recently. Despite rumors of divorce, Joe is reportedly stepping up while Teresa is away, and maintaining the household until his wife returns, according to The Inquisitr.
