iPhone 5C Vs Huawei Honor 6: Hardware, Display, Operating Systems, Camera, Battery, And Price Comparison!

We compare Apple's iPhone 5C against the Huawei Honor 6 to see which of these smartphones is the better purchase.

The Apple iPhone 5C is equipped with a 4 inch LED-backlit IPS LCD display that can render a resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels at 326 ppi pixel density, while the Huawei Honor 6 has a bigger display, a 5 inch IPS LCD screen capable of rendering 1080 x 1920 pixels and 445 ppi pixel density. The Apple handset is heavier than its rival, as it weighs 132 grams making the Honor 6 2 grams lighter. The iPhone 5C has the physical dimensions of 124.4 x 59.2 x 9 mm, the Huawei Honor 6 is at 139.6 x 69.7 x 7.5 mm.

For the hardware and OS, the stats from GSMArena revealed that the Honor 6 has two sets of processors: a Quad-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A15 and Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7. Its chipset is a HiSilicon Kirin 920, paired up with a Mali-T628 MP4, and 3GB of RAM. It has two sets of internal memory at 16 to 32GB, which can be reach 64GB when equipped with a microSD card, and it runs on the Android OS, v4.4.2 (KitKat).

Meanwhile, the iPhone 5C has a dual-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, powered by a Apple A6 chipset, and a PowerVR SGX 543MP3 with 1GB of RAM. It has three variants of memory: 16, 32, and 64GB, and runs on the iOS 7 that can be upgraded into the iOS 8.1.2 version.

The Honor 6 trumps the iPhone 5C with its cameras as the its primary camera is at 13MP compared to the 8MP, and its secondary is at 5MP while the Apple device has only 1.2MP. But, the iPhone 5C has more features than its Honor 6 such as 1/3.2'' sensor size, 1.4 µm pixel size, simultaneous HD video and image recording, touch focus, geo-tagging, face/smile detection, and HDR (photo/panorama).

The Honor 6 has greater battery capacity at 3100 mAh , while the Apple handset is at 1510 mAh.

The iPhone 5C is worth $200, while the Huawei Honor 6 is around $373.
