We compare the Motorola Moto E against the Nokia Lumia 535 to see which smartphone is the better purchase.

According to the FuseJoplin, both smartphones can render a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. But the Moto E has screen size of 4.3 inches and a pixel density of 256 ppi, while the Nokia Lumia 535 has a bigger screen at 5inches, but a lower pixel density of 220 ppi. The Moto E dimensions are at 124.8 x 64.8 x 12.3 mm and weighs around 142 grams, while the Nokai Lumia 535 is slightly heavier at 146 grams, and has the following dimensions of 140.2 x 72.4 x 8.8 mm. Both smartphones have the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection.

In terms of hardware, GSMArena stated that both smartphones have 1.2 GHz quad-cores, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 200, and an Adreno 302 for graphics. However, the Moto E is equipped with 1GB of RAM, an internal memory of 4GB expandable up to 32GB, and runs on the Android OS, v4.4.2 (KitKat), upgradable to the v5.0 (Lollipop).

The Nokia Lumia 535 on the other hand, has a 1GB RAM capacity, but a bigger memory of 8GB expandable up to 128GB, and runs on the Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1.

For the battery and camera specs, the Moto E is equipped with a 1980 mAh battery, while a Nokia handset is at 1905 mAh. Both cameras on the Nokia hnadset are at 5MP, while the Moto E's rear camera is also 5MP, but it does not have front camera.

The Motorola Moto E cost aroun $120 in Amazon.com, while the Nokia Lumia's price is at $148.
