Baby Sasha has made his debut on the UNICEF's World Baby Shower page, which is a campaign to help poor children in collaboration with Shakira and Gerard Pique.
The website says: "This is more than a shower, it's a global movement to save lives. You can be part of it by buying a UNICEF Inspired Gift. Inspired Gifts are real life saving items that are delivered to vulnerable children around the world."
The site then goes on to reveal that there are two ways for donors to join the campaign: first is to buy a gift and save a child's life, and the other is to host a baby shower and help even more children.
The Daily Mail noted that Shakira and Gerard Pique debuted their second son, baby Sasha, on the UNICEF webpage.
"The second-born son of Shakira and her Barcelona FC player partner Gerard Piqué has made his public debut in a sweet image the singer posted to the Unicef World Baby Shower website, which is aiming to help poverty-stricken people around the world," it said.
Before debuting baby Sasha's face, Shakira posted his feet on her Twitter page along with the caption: "I have Daddy's feet, it looks like I've been playing football my whole life."
After the birth of baby Sasha, Shakira and boyfriend Gerard Pique released a statement:
"We are happy to announce the birth of Sasha Piqué Mebarak, son of Shakira Mebarak and Gerard Piqué.
"The name Sasha is of Greek and Russian descent and means 'defender of mankind' and 'warrior,'" it said.
Shakira and Gerard Pique has another son named Milan.
On Monday last week, Shakira was released from Hospital Quirón Teknon in her hometown of Barcelona. It was reported that she closed off an entire floor so she could deliver baby Sasha in privacy.
