Bruce Jenner got involved in a tragic car accident in Malibu last Saturday, which lead to the death of one person.
According to reports, the reality TV star was to blame for the mishap, but his family insists that the paparazzi caused the car crash.
"There were four vehicles involved in the crash. We're told there were eight people involved and all sustained some sort of injury... but one person died at the scene," a source told TMZ.
There were also eyewitnesses claiming that the former Olympian hit the rear end of the white car which caused it to head into oncoming traffic and hit by a Hummer. The woman in the white car died in an instant.
According to the sources of the Jenner family, the 65-year old former athlete was being chased by around five paparazzi when the car accident happened. Bruce Jenner also said that he wasn't drinking and he even passed the field sobriety test.
All eyes were on Bruce Jenner because of the tragic car accident and finally the TV personality speaks up about what happened.
"My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident," Jenner's representative Alan Nierob said as reported by CNN.
"It is a devastating tragedy, and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them. I will continue to cooperate in every way possible," Nierob added.
Investigators tried to find out the real cause of the accident and they reportedly found out that Bruce Jenner wasn't being chased by the photographers, which he claimed was the reason why he got into a car crash.
"That is a very regular occurrence, and (there is) no indication at this time it was a contributing factor of the crash," Lt. John Lecrivain of the L.A. County Sheriff's Department told CNN.
The authorities haven't released any details yet regarding the cause of the car accident and victim so there's still a possibility that Bruce Jenner is innocent.
