After four months that it has been released, the Microsoft Band has a new update.

The Verge reported that Microsoft Band updated today new features that includes the Bike Tile, virtual keyboard, web dashboard and a quick read feature.

The Bike Tile allows the user to track their bike rides, wherein, it can trace both stationary and outdoor rides. Using the feature can optimized heart rate monitor for the ride, activates elevation tracking and displays the speed and how long it will take for the user to recover.

Furthermore, the publication added that the new health web dashboard allows the users to access information available in the mobile apps, including users' exercise, sleep and work outs.

Also the HealthVault can now organize the complete health information and user can share it to health care providers, if they are willing to do so.

It has also a virtual keyboard and voice replies for the Windows Phone 8.1 users. The said feature allows the user to reply a text message in two ways, either virtual keyboard with minimal errors or through voice which is powered by Cortana.

Furthermore, according to Windows Central, the Microsoft Band update has been made due to user's feedback.

Matt Barlow the General Manager of New Device Marketing said that the company have been monitoring feedback from their customers, media and partners, which lead them to this move.

"This feedback is at the heart of the decisions we make, and today we're pleased to take our first steps in launching new features and functionality for Microsoft Band and Microsoft Health that address what we're hearing," said Barlow in the report of Windows Central.

The update was released on Feb. 24 Tuesday and will start being rolled out in the coming days in iOS, Android and Windows Phone users.

The Microsoft Band can help users to track their heart rate, sleep quality and calorie burn. It also helps users to be productive with email preview and calendar alerts. It works across platforms including on Windows Phone, Android and iPhone.
