Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban had a blast at the Oscars as the "Paddington" actress impressed with her strapless gown cinched at the waist by a red belt.
"The shimmering number featured a side split that ran high up her thigh, and was cinched at the waist with a thin red belt," Daily Mail said. "Underneath the stunning number a pair of matching ankle-strap stilettos was visible."
During the red carpet event, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban even had an awkward encounter when Lisa Wilkinson of "The Today Show" just wouldn't let go of her hand while interviewing her. Meanwhile, the "American Idol" judge could only look at the whole event unfolding as nobody seemed to acknowledge his presence.
"I've known this girl since she was 14. I gave her her first magazine cover. She's always been exquisite. Always," Lisa Wilkinson said.
To which, Nicole Kidman agreed.
Keith Urban couldn't help but share their Oscar moment with his fans as he uploaded a short video on his Twitter account. Nicole Kidman was holding up a peace sign at the beginning of the video as the "American Idol" alum said "hi" to fans.
The country music star even panned the camera towards Jason Bateman who was munching on some goodies. Later as they said their goodbyes, Keith Urban again turned to the "Horrible Bosses" star to get him to say hi to fans.
He captioned the video: "Having a blast backstage!!! - KU #Oscars."
Samantah Stephens of CMT couldn't help but gush over the gesture by Keith Urban and wife Nicole Kidman at the Oscars.
"I don't know what's more adorable - the fact that during one of the most high-profile show business events of the year, the country superstar is more concerned with sharing the excitement with his fans rather than hobnobbing with fellow A-listers," she wrote. "Or that Nicole Kidman just threw us the peace sign on camera."
