The Sony has disclosed that the successor of Xperia E3 - the Xperia E4 - now comes with a 4G LTE connectivity.
The GSM Arena reported that the company has announced "quietly" the Sony Xperia E4g, which has more mobile data speed compared to its predecessor.
The Sony Xperia E4g is "lightning-fast smartphone" with a Quad-core processor, along with a built-in LTE/4G modem. This will give fast internet connection with up to 150Mbit/s download while the upload speed is at 50 Mbit/s.
As for its specs, the Sony Xperia E4g has a 4.7-inch screen with a qHD display and a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The said device has a protection from scratches and IPS technology for a sharp and accurate viewing experience.
Furthermore, according to Sony Mobile, the handset runs on a MediaTek MT6732 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz quad core. It has 1 GB of RAM with an 8 GB internal storage that can be upgraded up to 32 GB via SD card.
The Sony's device offers connectivity support to aGPS, Bluetooth 4.1 wireless technology, USB tethering, 3.5 mm audio jack, smart connect, USB high speed 2.0, micro USB, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi hotspot and synchronisation via Exchange ActiveSync.
In terms of camera, the Sony Xperia E4g has 5MP back snapper and 2MP front camera. The camera has 4x digital zoom, auto scene recognition, Geo tagging, HD video recording 1080p, high dynamic range mode and image stabiliser.
Moreover, the Xperia E4g offers 3D surround sound technology, clear audio+ sound improvement software, xLoud experience and FM radio with RDS. Also, it has a 2,300 mAh battery that can last for up to two days of battery life.
Meanwhile, the Sony Xperia E4g is expected to launch in April and will have a debut price around $45 or €129, the same price as to the initial pre-orders for the 3G-only phone.
