Is Dakota Johnson already moving on from split with ex Matthew Hitt?

That's the question that teased tabloids as the "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress was spotted with a mystery bloke while leaving historic Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood over the weekend.

"Sitting in the backseat, the actress looked pretty as she held her perfectly manicured fingers up to her face, said Daily Mail. "With minimally applied makeup and rosy cheeks, Dakota appeared surprised to be in the spotlight even though her erotic film has smashed box office records and made her an overnight sensation."

The mystery guy, meanwhile, was sitting beside her at the backseat while dressed in a black suit and white shirt. The man also stared into the camera while holding his phone.

A report from Us Weekly claimed that Dakota Johnson and Matthew Hitt have parted ways in December last week.

"Sometime over the holidays, they broke up," the source told the magazine. "Her life was getting too crazy and it wasn't something that he wanted to be a part of."

However, the source quickly added that the two remain friends, insisting that "it wasn't a bad break."

It's not clear what the reason for the Dakota Johnson and Matthew Hitt split, but speculations suggested that her "crazy schedule" and perhaps becoming famous overnight because of "Fifty Shades of Grey" as possible factors.

Us Weekly pointed out that Dakota Johnson's busy schedule as she's thrust into the spotlight following the success of the erotic film won't leave enough room for her to accommodate Matthew Hitt, so the split wasnt' as surprising.

Like Matthew Hitt, Dakota Johnson is also worried what the success of "Fifty Shades of Grey will do to her privacy. "I think about my dwindling anonymity and that's really scary because a very large part of me would be perfectly happy living on a ranch in Colorado and having babies and chickens and horses-which I will do anyway," she said.
