David Beckham and wife Victoria took time off from the boys as they went on a date night while the retired footballer launched scotch whisky.
David Beckham posted a sepia-colored photo of him posing with wife along with the caption: "Great to have my beautiful wife in attendance at my Haig Club London dinner. #HaigClubLondon."
User Nicola Alford commented, "Shame its £45.00 a bottle David Beckham," referring to the Haig Club scotch whisky the footballer is promoting.
Not a few commented, however, on how sad and think Victoria Beckham looks in the photo because she wasn't smiling, particularly next to David Beckham who was beaming.
Anna Wharton wrote: "Love Becks but I do think she should smile.... maybe just a bit, she always has that same pose.... just saying.."
User Audrey Voges-Dello Russo added: "His wife should enjoy a nice sandwich, then maybe she would smile."
Beena Pravin Vaya was even more harse: "Does she ever smile... looks like a zombie to me. Always the same expression."
Patsy Hoffpauir was more gracious as she wrote, "I think Victoria is very attractive and don't understand why she seems to play down her looks."
According to Daily Mail, many personalities went to the David Beckham launch for Haig Club scotch whisky.
"Among the high-profile faces seen supporting David on the night were the couple's pals Idris Elba, David Furnish, Tana Ramsay and Guy Ritchie, who directed the commercial for Haig Club," it said.
"The pop-up club, styled to emulate the original 1920s Haig Club 'Clubman Series' adverts, includes a hidden whisky snug, and special menu devised by Brett Graham, Mike Robinson and Alex Harper of the Michelin starred Harwood Arms," the British tabloid added.
Meanwhile, Daily Record noted that David Beckham and Victoria Beckham have been very supportive of each other's interests. The footballer has attended the former Spice Girl's fashion shows and she was there to return the favor for the launch of Haig Club's scotch whisky.
