The Microsoft Lumia 640 and Microsoft Lumia 640 XL will be both available through AT&T, Phone Arena reported. The carrier has not yet disclosed the specific date it will be available though the company disclosed that Microsoft Lumia 640 is set to be released in spring.
"AT&T didn't say how much the Lumia 640 and 640 XL would cost. However, announced that the LTE variants of the 640 and 640 XL (which are almost certainly the ones to be released by AT&T) would be priced at €159 and €219, respectively - which probably means $159 and $219 for the US market (off contract)" the site wrote.
Furthermore, the GSM Arena that the device will be available in different colors including Black, Cyan, White and Orange.
The Microsoft Lumia 640 has an IPS display with a 720p resolution and a ppi of 294, while the Lumia 640 XL has an IPS LCD display with the same resolution as to Lumia 640 but has a ppi of 259.
Both smartphones run on Windows 8.1 with the latest Denim update, but the firm confirmed that both devices will get a Windows 10 operating system update within this year.
Moreover, the Microsoft Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL run on a Snapdragon 400 chipset clocked at 1.2 GHz with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 128 GB via memory card.
When it comes to the camera, the Microsoft Lumia 640 has an 8MP camera at the back and 1MP front camera while the Lumia XL has 13MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing camera.
The 5-inch screen device has a 2,500 mAh battery while the Lumia 640 with 5.7-inch screen has a 3,000 mAh battery.
Meanwhile, Recombu reported that Microsoft Lumia 640 might cost around €139 (£100) for the 3G version and the 4G LTE model SIM-free is around €159 (£115). The Lumia 640 XL will be priced at €189 (£140) for the 3G version and €219 (£160) for the 4G version.
