The Apple Watch has been unveiled by the Cupertino-based company and revealed that its price may start at $350.
The Phone Arena reported that Apple Watch is projected by an analyst from $350, specifically for the Apple Watch Sport, then $10,000 for the gold Apple Watch Edition.
The Apple Watch has three models - Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch Gold Edition.
Apple Watch, which is dubbed as the classic version, is made of up of stainless steel and has two variants - the 38 mm and 42 mm classic Apple Watch. The 38mm's price will range from $549 to $1,049 while the 42mm will go about $599 to $1,099.
Apple Watch Sport, which is made of a special aluminum alloy that is 60 percent tougher compared to regular alloys, has 38mm and 42mm versions and it will cost at $349 and $399 respectively.
Lastly, the Apple Watch Gold Edition, which is made of 18K gold, is expected to have a starting price of $10,000 for the 38mm and $12,000 for the 42mm; however, Apple CEO Tim Cook has not revealed the pricing information but it is reported that the smartwatch is a limited edition and might be only offered in select Apple stores.
Furthermore, Apple Watch will be available for pre-orders starting on April 10, interested buyers can pre-order the device at any Apple retail store with purchases shipping from April 24.
The sale of the smartwatch will commence in Australia, China, Canada, Germany, France, Hong Kong, Japan, U.K. and the U.S.
Moreover, the Independent wrote that Cook said the smartwatch battery can last for 18 hours of normal use.
Other notable features that the Apple Smartwatch offers are: it can be controlled using the user's voice, it has a built-in Siria and user will no longer need to press a button to activate it. The touch screen of the device has a "force touch" that will distinguish how it is being pressed.
Meanwhile, a new version of iOS - iOS 8.2 - has been rolled out and it will come with an app for controlling the watch. It also allows the user to browse compatible apps and more.
