CBS Comedy Shows 2015: '2 Broke Girls,' 'Mike And Molly,' And 'The Big Bang Theory' Renewed; 'The Odd Couple' Rumored To Be Cancelled

The comedy shows "2 Broke Girls," "Mike and Molly," "Mom" and "The Big Bang Theory" have been renewed, as announced by CBS, for the 2015-2016 broadcast season.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, CBS has released a statement last Thursday, announcing the list of comedy shows that will be renewed for another season this 2015.

"MOM," starring Anna Faris and Allision Janney, a multiple Emmy Award winner, is the rising returning comedy series on TV. MOM is currently on its 2nd season. This is produced by Chuck Lorre Production together with Warner Bros. Television. Nick Bakay, Eddie Gorodetsky and Chuck Lorre are the Executive Producers. The series was created by Gemma Baker, Eddie Gorodetsky and Chuck Lorre.

"Mike & Molly" stars Emmy Award winner and Academy Award nominee Melissa McCarthy and Billy Gardell, and is currently on its 5th season. The comedy series is produced by Bonanza Productions Incorporated with Warner Bros. Television and Chuck Lorre Productions. Al Higgins and Chuck Lorre are Executive Producers.

"2 Broke Girls," starring Beth Behrs and Kat Dennings starts off CBS's growing lineup at 8PM, with 9.58 million viewers. Currently on its 4th season, "2 Broke Girls" is produced by MPK Productions, and Warner Bros. Television. Michelle Nader and Michael Patrick King and Executive Producers.

"The Big Bang Theory," the #1 comedy on TV is renewed, being part of the multi-year broadcast agreement, through the 2016-2017 season. The series stars Golden Globe Award and multiple Emmy Award winner Jim Parson, Johnny Galecki, Simon Helberg, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, Kunal Nayyar, Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik. "The Big Bang Theory" is being produced by Chuck Lorre Productions with Warner Bros. Television. Steven Molaro, Bill Prady and Chuck Lorre are Executive Producers.

Among the CBS' comedy show line-up, rumors have pointed to "The Odd Couple" as possibly on the chopping block as there's still no confirmation of its renewal for the 2015-2016 season.
