The Korean-based tech giant Samsung has formally disclosed that the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge are officially available in India, cite GSM Arena.

The site wrote that the latest flagship of smartphone - the Samsung Galaxy S6 - in India will be available in three storage options such as 32, 64 and 128GB respectively. The 32GB cost for INR 49,900 which is roughly around $800. The 64GB priced at INR 55,900 which is around $894 and the 128GB which is priced at INR 61,900 around $993.

Furthermore, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge 32GB variant cost Rs 58,900 which is around $945, the 64GB for Rs 64,900 around $1,041 and the 128GB for INR 70,900 which is roughly around $1,138.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 will be offered in Black Sapphire, Blue Topaz, Gold Platinum and White Pearl, while the Galaxy S6 Edge will be available in Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, White Pearl and Green Emerald.

According to GSM Arena, both the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge have a 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display with the same resolution of 1440 x 2560, which translates into 577 ppi.

The device is powered by an Exynos 7420 processor with a CPU of quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57. Both handsets have 3 GB of RAM, Mali-T670 GPU and storage variants of 32, 64 and 128GB respectively.

In terms of camera, both smartphones have a 16MP rear camera with optical image stabilization, LED flash, face detection, auto real-time high dynamic range and other photography features that the user can explore with. Both devices have 5MP with features such as auto HDR with 120 wide angle lens that can let user to capture an image with an exceptional clarity.

Both device have a 2,500 mAh battery that runs on Android v5.0.2 Lollipop operating system.

Meanwhile, the company is taking pre-orders for the latest flagship smartphones and will ship it on April 10.
