The latest smartphone of Gionee, which is Elife S7 is set to launch in India on April 4, cite GSM Arena.

The Chinese company had confirmed that the event is scheduled on April 4 and invitations have already been sent out; however, as for its price, the company has not yet released any details about it.

The Gionee Elife S7 is one of thinnest dual-SIM smartphone which is built using a U-shape skeleton with an aviation level alloy for its frame. It has been crafted using a nano-molding plastic and the said handset breaks ways from Gionee's thickness-oriented naming convention.

According to Phone Arena, the Gionee Elife S7 has a dimension of 139.8 x 67.4 x 5.5mm. It has a 5.2-inch SUPER AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 that translates into 424 ppi.

Under the hood, the Gionee Elife S7 runs on a MediaTek MTK6752 system chips 8-core, 1700 MHz, ARM Cortex-A53 processor. The said deice has a new Sensor Hub integrated to the SoC to use less power and conserve the usage of CPU.

The device has a 2 GB of RAM with a Mali-T760MP2 GPU and an internal storage of 16GB, but it does not offer a memory card slot. As for the operating system, the device runs on Android v5.0 Lollipop with the company's Amigo 3.0 UI.

The Gionee Elife S7 has a 13MP rear camera with features such as night mode, high dynamic range mode, face detection, Geo tagging and autofocus, while the front camera has 8MP that can take videos at 1080 pixels at 30 fps.

As for the battery, the Gionee Elife S7 has a 2,750 mAh and comes in different colors such as North Pole White, Los Angeles, and Maldives Blue.

Other features of the device include light sensor, proximity sensor, scratch-resistant glass which is Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
