The Microsoft has teamed up with Coloud to create and launch a new headset called Hoop by Coloud, a Swedish maker of audio accessories.

The Phone Arena reported that the new headset called Hoop will be intended for the Lumia smartphones and users who have an active lifestyle.

The Hoop, designed by Microsoft, has an adjustable support loop that allows the user to keep the earpieces from slipping out of their ear. When the user clip the cable to their clothes they are all set for "distraction-free listening" according to the Microsoft official website.

The company also added that they created a cable that can help users to stay focused, the easy way to reach buttons and let users to easily adjust the volume, the flat shape resists tangles, and the reflective coating that keeps the user visible.

The Microsoft headset Hoop headset is built to handle workouts, without worrying about the new headset since the device is protected against, sweat, dust and splashes.

As for the specs, Microsoft headset Hoop has a weight of 20.5g with a cable length of 120cm and a 3.5 mm stereo headset connector.

Other technical specs of Microsoft headset Hoop include a 32 ohm speaker impedance, a frequency response of 20 - 20,000 Hz and it can operate at temperatures between -5 and +40 degrees Celsius (23 - 104 degrees Fahrenheit).

The Hoop by Coloud headset is available in three color variants - black, green and orange. The said device will be available in Europe and it will cost €29.

As of this writing, the company has not yet released any information of the Hoop headset will be available in other markets and the specific release date of the said device.

Meanwhile, Microsoft headset Hoop is recommended to Lumia smartphones such as the Lumiz 640 LTE Dual SIM, Lumia 640 XL LTE, Lumia 640 LTE and Lumia 640 XL.
