A US carrier Verizon Wireless has confirmed that HTC One M9 is up for pre-order starting April 1, cites GSM Arena.
The HTC One M9 is only being offered in 32GB, which is priced at $200 on a regular two-year agreement and $600 sans a contract. According to Verizon Wireless, the HTC One M9 has a full price of $599 and the said device is also available at Verizon Edge. The customer can also get it for $25 per month for 24 months.
In the box along with the HTC One M9 unit, Verizon Wireless includes a non-removable 2840 mAh Lithium Ion battery, a pre-installed SIM Card (4FF NFC), a wall adapter, USB cable, stereo headset, quick reference guide, global support brochure, RF brochure, important consumer information and product safety and warranty brochure.
The HTC One M9 has a 5-inch Super LCD3 Corning Gorilla Glass display, with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 that translates into 440 ppi, plus has a full touch bar. The smartphone is equipped with UH-OH Protection, which includes a free one-time phone replacement if the display cracks or the phone sustains water damage within the first 12 months of ownership.
Under the hood, the device runs on the Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 processor with a CPU of quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and quad-core 2 GHz Cortex-A57. It runs on the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with Sense 7 and has an Adreno 430 GPU.
As for the storage, the device has a 32GB internal storage, with an expandable memory of up to 200 GB. It has a 2,840 mAh battery.
In terms of camera, the HTC One M9 has a 20MP rear camera with a scratch-resistant sapphire glass lens cover. The UltraPixel front-facing camera allows the user to take a clearer picture. Meanwhile, the handset offers a front-facing stereo speaker that features a built-in amplifier and Dolby Audi surround. It has HTC BoomSound with a 24-bit high-def sound.
