K-Drama Stars Who Celebrate A Birthday In April

They say April is the cruelest month but it's birthday party time for some of your favorite Korean celebrities. Who is older this month and what are they up to?

Here's a list.

April 2: Kim Jae Wook turns 32 on April 2. He was last seen in several episodes of the 2014 drama "Inspiring Generation" as Kim Hyun Joong's rival but then dropped out due to unexplained circumstances. That year he also did a cameo in DramaFestival "4teen" but so far this year has not been in the news. Before "Inspiring Generation" he played a ghost in the drama "Who Are You?" with Ok Taecyeon and So E Hyun.

April 4: Gong Hyo Jin, one of k-drama's most beloved comic actresses celebrates her 35th birthday on April 4. She will probably spend her birthday getting ready for her next role as a producer in the drama "Producer with co-stars Cha tae Hyun, Kim Soo Hyun and IU. She had a hit drama in 2014 in "It's Okay, "That's Love" with co-star Jo In Sung.

April 11: Yoo Yeon Suk is much in demand these days. He appeared in two films in 2014, "Whistle Blower" and Joseon-era film "The "Royal Tailor." In the latter film he played a king and Park Shin Hye played his queen. Up next is a leading role in the next Hong Sisters drama "Warm and Cozy" and a role in the thriller film "Perfect Proposal."

April 15: Kim Tae Woo has a busy year lined up. His film "Memories of the Sword" will be released and he can also be seen in "Casa Amor: Exclusive for the Ladies." He has a drama role too, appearing in the KBS saga "The Jingbirok: A Memoir of the Imjin War." In 2014, he appeared in "Pirates" with Son ye Jin and Kim Nam Gil.

April 17: Lee Jun Ki turns 33 this year. To follow his drama success in "The Joseon Gunman," Lee Jun Ki will play a seductively beautiful vampire in the fantasy historical drama "The Scholar Who Walks The Night."

April 19: Since her last birthday actress Lee Da Hae reunited with her "My Girl" co-star Lee Dong Wook. The actors appeared together in the weekend drama "Hotel King." She was nominated for an Excellence Award for that role at the MBC Drama Awards. Her appearance in the drama also resulted in her landing clothing and cosmetic endorsement deals throughout Asia.

April 23: Actress Kim Hee Ae followed her successful drama "Secret Love Affair" with two film roles. One was in the critically acclaimed film "Elegant Lies," a tragic story about bullying and suicide. The other is in the 2015 film "C'est Si Bon."
