Sims 4 Get To Work

To start a retail business in “Sims 4: Get to Work” the player must first have these requirements

Sims Online says that a player needs to have two things to open a store -- a cash register and products to sell. The products can be an item from the Build Mode catalog or something that a Sim has collected and crafted.

If the player has decided on the item he is about to sell, the next step is to click on the item and mark is at "For Sale." Then, click the cash register and select "Open Store." When it comes to running a store with food, the player needs to build a kitchen within a retail store to cook or bake the food.

Other items that can be sold include objects from Buy Mode, paintings, collectibles, photos, prepared food, clothing, self-written books, vegetables, fruits, herbs, furniture and woodworking sculptures. Furthermore, the number of customers that visit the store is determined through the store's curb appeal, which can be checked by viewing the Financial Report at the cash register.

Another tip is by putting a neon sign or retail signs for a "more lasting impact" for the curb appeal. Aside from the signs, the players can also put a decoration within the store. Having a variety of items for sale can get more chances of getting more customers.

To get more sales, it is a must to keep your store well organized and neat. Clean the dirty pedestals and displays regularly. The cleaning will be a lot faster if the Sim levels up his skill in retail maintenance. Also, the Sim can use the Perk Points to buy Perks, such as Serious Shopper, which can increase the customers' desire to buy an item they like in the store.
