Dohee (Min Dohee) recently revealed that she is more interested in dating solo vocalist than Chanyeol of the powerhouse group EXO. Chanyeol is scheduled to appear in the jTBC virtual dating show, “Dating Alone.” He may be an idol that is highly desired by most women in Korea but Dohee expressed her interest in Seo In Guk.
According to a report from allkpop, Dohee chose Seo In Guk over Chanyeol when she was asked about male celebrities that she would be interested in dating. “I am a long time fan of him,” Dohee said. “I would like to try a relationship with him.”
Dohee was a member of the recently defunct K-pop girl group, Tiny-G. She successfully transitioned into an acting career in 2013 with her role as Jo Yoo Jin in “Reply 1994.” She followed her appearance in the “Reply” series with her portrayal of Min Do Hee in the absurdist comedy, “Boarding House #24.” 2014 was a busy year for her acting career as she juggled her appearance in the comedic series with her recurring role in the classical music drama, “Tomorrow’s Cantabile.”
Both stars have experienced successful acting careers which have coincided with their music releases. Seo In Guk recently starred as Prince Gwanghae in KBS2 the period drama, “The King’s Face.” Although, he has gained attention for his K-Drama roles, his debut in Korean entertainment came through his appearance on Mnet's music competition series "Superstar K."
Chanyeol has received increased attention beyond EXO through his appearance in the first season of “Roommate” and his role in the upcoming comedy, “Salut D’Amour.”
While she may have chosen another star, fans will have the opportunity to watch the interaction between Dohee and Chanyeol when they appear together in the upcoming episode of “Dating Alone” on April 11.
