Gamers have reason to rejoice as Square Enix is reportedly gearing up to unveil a "secret" project this month. The speculations rose after the Japanese company launched a new teaser website.

Square Enix, the hugely successful Japanese video game developer and publisher known to be the brains behind role-playing video games franchises such as the "Final Fantasy" series and the "Dragon Quest", is all set to delight avid gamers with this latest offering -- "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided."

In fact, the new game was just one part of the announcement made by Square Enix. The game developer also revealed the new teaser website for a new project, according to the details shared on GameSpot.

DualShocker, another popular forum for gamers, went a step ahead and noted that clicking the sharing buttons on this page reveal that the Japanese video game giant is planning to announce the new project early next week. This is because the sharing options take you to a message that asks the visitor to wait for the new project by Square Enix to be unveiled on Monday, 13th April, 2015.

According to data given on PlayStationLifestyle, the message is like a code or hint displayed against a very uncommon background consisting of select letters S, A and R from the entire alphabetical string, along with two numbers 0, 1, 0, 1 put up in random fashion. It is this background that has led gamers to speculate that this could all indicate an overall date or time of launch of a new game.

Whether it's a new game from an already established franchise or a completely new IP from Square Enix is yet to be seen. In fact, given the video game developer's penchant to surprise fans, the possibility of it being something entirely different is also high.

Moreover, reports say it doesn't seem as if the content Square Enix is teasing could be related to its recently released "Deus Ex" game. With no further information available at the moment, fans across the globe are simply taking wild guesses.

That said, the only hint at the moment is a sequence of what looks like meaningless letters and numbers, which gaming news outfits interpret as a bunch of clues that will gradually unveil the mystery in the upcoming days.
